Look After
Your Brain |
The main differences between human and animal brains is their size. Humans also have more neurons per unit volume than other animals, and the only way to do that with the brain's layered structure is to make folds in the outer layer, or cortex. Humans also have the largest frontal lobes of any animal. The frontal lobes are associated with higher-level functions such as self-control, planning, logic and abstract thought — basically, the things that make us particularly human
But for all people their are some very basic self care steps that can be taken to optimise their health and well being, thereby increasing the likelihood they can lead happy, productive and fulfilling lives.
There are three essential pillars to good health we all require.
Just remember... D A S
Diet - Powers the body - allowing vitamin & mineral absorption for healthy skin, muscle & organs.

Sleep - The right amount of sleep is essential for our bodies to repair and rejuvenate.

Despite all this, you still feel burned out, can’t drop those extra pounds, and don’t have the energy to greet each day with enthusiasm. What are you missing?
The third piece of the puzzle: sleep Though the exact mechanisms of how sleep works, how sleep rejuvenates the body and mind is still mysterious, one thing sleep specialists and scientists do know is that adequate sleep is necessary for healthy functioning. Research shows that all mammals need sleep, and that sleep regulates mood and is related to learning and memory functions. Not only will getting your zzzs help you perform on a test, learn a new skill or help you stay on task, but it may also be a critical factor in your health, weight and energy level.
